📅 WEEK 5–6: TRADELINE POWER

Become an authorized user on a family member's or trusted friend's oldest, lowest-utilization card. You inherit their positive history instantly. Target cards that are 5+ years old with under 10% utilization. One AU tradeline can add 30–50 points in 30 days. Don't open new credit yet — just stack positive history.

📅 WEEK 7–8: UTILIZATION HACK

Credit utilization is 30% of your score. Get it below 9% for maximum impact. If you have existing cards: pay balances down before the statement closing date — not the due date. The balance reported to bureaus is the statement balance, not what you owe. Pay it down before they report. Even $500 in available credit matters — request limit increases (soft pull only — ask specifically for soft pull).

📅 WEEK 9: SECOND-ROUND DISPUTES

Pull your updated reports. Any items that survived round 1? Fire again — this time cite FCRA §611(a)(7) to demand the METHOD of verification and name/address of the verifier. Bureaus rarely have this — they will delete rather than comply. Also check for new errors: updated balances reported incorrectly, accounts showing open when closed, duplicate accounts.

📅 WEEK 10: CFPB COMPLAINT FILING

For every item a bureau refused to delete despite insufficient verification: file a formal complaint at consumerfinance.gov/complaint. Bureaus must respond to CFPB complaints within 15 days. Use this script: "I submitted a written dispute on [date]. The bureau failed to conduct a reasonable investigation and refused to provide method of verification per FCRA §611(a)(7). The item remains inaccurate. I am requesting federal intervention and reserve the right to pursue civil damages under FCRA §616." This alone triggers deletion on 40–60% of remaining items.

📅 WEEK 11–12: BUILD & SECURE

Now open 1 secured card if you don't have active revolving credit — Capital One Secured or Discover it Secured report to all 3 bureaus. Charge one small recurring bill to it monthly (Netflix, a subscription). Pay in full before statement closes. Never carry a balance. Set up autopay. After 6 months of perfect payment history, request graduation to unsecured. Aim: 3 open accounts, all under 9% utilization, zero late payments. This is the 750–805 formula.
